- Is this invoice generator really free?
- Yes — every feature is free: unlimited invoices and quotes, PDF downloads, logo upload, signatures, tax presets and 30+ currencies. There is no account, no trial and no paywall. Free PDFs carry a small one-line footer credit.
- Do I need to sign up or enter my email?
- No. This is an invoice generator with no sign-up: open the page, fill in the form and download your PDF. Your data is saved in your own browser (localStorage) so your invoice is still there when you come back — it is never sent to a server.
- What does Net 30 mean on an invoice?
- Net 30 means full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice issue date. Net 7 and Net 14 work the same way with shorter windows. Pick a term in the Due field and the due date is calculated automatically.
- How do I send an invoice to a client?
- Download your invoice as a PDF, then email it to your client with a short message referencing the invoice number and due date. PDFs look identical on every device and are easy for finance teams to process.
- How is sales tax, VAT or GST added?
- Choose a preset: US mode auto-fills the combined sales tax rate for your state, UK mode applies VAT at 20%, 5% or zero, and AU mode applies 10% GST with GST-inclusive or exclusive pricing. You can also type any custom percentage.
- Can I add my logo and signature to the invoice?
- Yes. Upload a PNG or JPG logo (max 2 MB) and either upload a signature image or draw one with your mouse, finger or stylus. Both appear on the live preview and in the downloaded PDF.
- What is the difference between an invoice and a quote?

- Completely. The tool runs entirely in your browser — no invoice data, client details, logos or signatures are ever uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes everything, so keep PDF copies of important invoices.
